Revolution Social Aid and Pleasure Club hosted a 2nd Line for the King of Pop yesterday, Sunday, July 28th. We had record breaking heat, and then torrential downpours from the heavens...but that didn't stop the faithful followers of MJ for turning out and celebrating his life, with the sounds of the Rebirth Brass Band belting MJ tunes and NOLA favorites all in sync.

It was almost a craft guild meeting out there, with everyone sporting their new MJ iron on shirts and white guilded gloves.

Teddy Lamson and krewe put on a killer rock festival in Lafayette a few weeks back - cheers and hurrahs go out to them. The kind folks let me wrap some painters tarp over some plywood and shoot pics.
